Homer is one of our area's top agents. Raised in Alabama, he enlisted in the US Marine Corp. immediately following high school. Homer gained invaluable knowledge and life training from this experience including fundamentals such as trust, loyalty, strong work ethic and morals, which he applies to his leadership and contributions to the team. Raised in Salisbury, NC, Rachael graduated from NC State with a BS in Accounting. She then went on to pursue an MBA from East Carolina University. She and Homer are blessed with two young boys, who love "helping sell houses". Rachael oversees marketing, management and Team commitment. She and her husband work together to create a positive Team environment and to build a unique team that ensures a simple and smooth real estate experience.
Mitchell is a native of the Greenville area. Over the past twelve years, Mitchell worked with a prominent local builder/developer, as superintendent. His primary obligation was to ensure overall customer satisfaction from pre-construction through the closing process. He brought this experience and enthusiasm with him when he joined our team, in 2009. He offers an extra level of professionalism ensuring that every real estate transaction is a positive experience. Mitchell is a full time Broker specializing in new home construction and is very knowledgeable in all areas of the building process.
Benji is originally from the Greenville, NC area. He graduated from ECU in 1999 with a BSBA in Business Management, and in 2004 went on to receive a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Since graduation from college he has worked in the boat building, counseling, advertising, and real estate industries. He has been a real estate broker since 2005. He currently holds the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designations. He has served with the Greenville Pitt Association of REALTORS as Chairman of the Professional Standards Committee, member of the Community Development Committee, and member of the REALTOR Political Action Committee. He has also served on the North Carolina Real Estate Education Foundation (NCREEF) as a Dean. Benji joined Tyre Realty Group in October 2009 and specializes in working with buyers of real estate properties. His education, experience, leadership skills, and superior customer service drastically reduce the stress level of the real estate process because the buyer knows that their best interests are most important. He was married to his beautiful wife Janice in 2008 and they are expecting their first child in March 2010.
Charlotte was born and raised in Pitt County. She graduated from Winterville High School and attended ECTC. A mother of two, she worked as an Office Manager with a local heating and air company for thirty years. Upon retiring from this position, she began working with her nephew in real estate, helping out with whatever he needed. Nowadays EVERYONE claims her as their "Aunt Charlotte" and this has evolved into a second career. She joined our team in 2008 and has been a blessing to us in more ways than one. Charlotte brings with her an unsurpassed enthusiasm and love for people. She treats each day as a new adventure and lives it to the fullest.
Born and raised in Greenville, Vic graduated from DH Conley and attended ECU on a baseball scholarship. Most of his family was involved in farming and real estate. His strong work ethic from growing up in a farming family made the transition into real estate seem easy. Almost instantly he became a top sales agent! After 6 years in real estate Vic achieved recognition for being in the top 1% of agents in the USA! From there, Vic entered a business venture that involved land development and house construction that is still operating. With the support of his wife and partner, Karen and his son, Adam, Vic has been able to build a successful career in both real estate and development. Karen started and owned her own modeling agency and sold women’s accessories in 6 different states, working the New York and Atlanta markets for more than 18 years. The experience gained from working with so many different people and helping them obtain their dreams led her to the decision to begin selling real estate in 1995. With an interior design degree from ECU, she now loves helping people see their new home in ways they never thought possible. Her affiliation with The Homer Tyre Team allows her to continue to help others realize their dreams.
Scott is the newest member to the Homer Tyre Team. Scott brings his leadership skills and outgoing personality to the group. He attended Wayne Community College’s Forestry Management program for two years and worked in the freight transport and forestry industries. Wanting a more service driven career, Scott went on to pursue his real estate dreams and soon joined The Homer Tyre Team.
